A complete restoration has been carried out on this Land Rover series 1 86" 1956The chassis has been throughly repaired, new outriggers where necessary, new dumb iron and rear cross member. The chassis has been painted and wax oiled.
The original number plate has unfortunately been sold on many years ago which is why it's an A plate
The chassis and engine are matching numbers.
All new wiring, and lights throughout.
All new suspension and brakes.
Has had all new steering joints, new LOF clutch with flywheel skimmed.
New rear section of exhaust system.
The bodywork has all been repainted. It’s not concourse, but very usable and show-worthy .
It has a full set of brand-new tyres and rims.
There is a canvas tilt for it but no hoops.
Not many are to been seen with a hardtop
This is listed elsewhere so may be removed if sold before end of auction. But if there is lots of interest, it will run the course of the auction.
