An vintage piece of Black Forest  chip carving in the form of a miniature St Bernard dog, complete with a barrel around it's neck.

I believe it was made in the 1930's and was probably, like so many others, a tourist piece.

Likely to be carved from limewood , which is a staple source of these items.

In very good condition consistent with age, no apparent chips, cracks or restoration.

Just over 3.25" long and about 2.25" tall

Photos are of the item you will receive, are a good representation and form part of the description.

This will make a fine addition to any collection.
