ORIGINAL ART - BOOK COVER ILLUSTRATION

"STEALTH BOMBER"

 artist: KEITH SCAIFE

This is an original painting created by British artist Keith Scaife that was used for one in a series commissioned covers for Military thrillers - each extremely colorful and dynamically rendered.  This one is for another thriller adventure novel from Barnaby Williams, and another beauty of an illustration - a gorgeous rendering of a stealth bomber in intense blue against a dramatic background = great cover art.  In this tale, Williams tracks the efforts of a renegade Islamic-oriented group that tries to bring two superpowers closer and closer to a nuclear holocaust - and the bomber eerily captures tht struggle! Published by Sphere, 1990 and handpainted in acrylic on illustration board in landscape "wraparound" format, 17" x 22" and signed by the artist.  (I show you the published cover for reference)

NOTE:  If you are purchasing more than one painting on the same day during this sale in this series, I will charge no more than to ship one (refund after purchase).  No rights of reproduction accompany the sale.   Overseas buyers: there are some locations to which I prefer not to ship; if you want me to consider an exception for you, please message me through eBay.  If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me before bidding.   For other choices in illustration art you can also visit the Worlds of Wonder website and browse our online gallery of illustrative art!  Happy bidding!
