This jade snuff bottle was an estate find. The material is natural jadeite jade in a pale lavender jadeite with hints of orange color. It is carved with a gourd vine in bloom. The vine wraps around the bottle and ends with a splash of orange. Excellent use of the natural colors in the stone. The snuff bottle top is natural green malachite. This clever touch looks like the cap of a bloom. It has a spoon. It measures 3 inches tall c 1 1/4 inches wide.
