A set of vintage kitsch Staffordshire pottery from Price Brothers, Stoke on Trent

In the form of a 5 (five) piece cruet set from their Cottage Ware range

This is an early set from the 1950s with the earlier Price Brothers backstamp ( the firm amalgamated with Kensington in 1962)

Consisting of a salt shaker, pepper pot, a mustard with separate lid and the tray,

Has the original cork stoppers. There is also an early plastic mustard spoon which is damaged but I think is original

Hand painted in polychrome colours of brown, green and yellow

Salt and pepper stand about 3" tall. Mustard is about 2.25"

Total weight is about 264g

In good condition consistent with its age, no apparent chips or cracks or restoration, typical of this manufactory there is some light glaze crazing.

Has been stored in a box in the garage  for fifteen years
