Inthis listing we have a really cute outfit. This outfit was made forMimi, who is exclusive to Korea. She’s their version of Barbie.This outfit is really cute. It was their version of a “Spanish”outfit. It consists of a black jersey knit shirt with ruffle detailsand a netting “flower”, a pink with a silver sheen tiered skirt,a black elastic headband with a netting “flower”, and dark pinkpleather purse. The skirt has an elastic waist and an elastic strapthat goes between the doll’s legs to help keep it in place and theshirt had velcro in the back. The top of the purse is open, but it’svery small and the closure in the front doesn’t actually work. Thisoutfit can fit dolls like the Petite Barbie. It is modeled by a Petite doll in first four pictures and a belly button Barbie in the remaining pictures. It can fit the Belly Button body.

Thisclothes have never been played with, but they were briefly displayedthen put into storage. I will point out saying that Mimi clothes arenot the best quality. I would say that they are a step below Mattelin quality. Starting with the short. The tulle netting is unhemmedand some of the edges weren’t cut out as crisply as they could be.Some of the edges are slightly ragged. Around both arm holes theinside hem tends to flip forward and be visible when on the doll.There’s a lot of excess threads in the back where the velcro issewn on. Along the front of the shirt is a line of surging. There’sa lot of sewing errors along that line. There’s thread loops,thread tangles, it’s far from perfect. On the left sleeve therelooks to be a small sewing error in the arm hole. It looks like theycut to far into and it didn’t get hemmed properly. It seem secure,but that spot could fray if you’re not careful. This top willstain, so I would not keep a doll in it. The skirt is in nice shape.It does have a black waistband, so that will most likely stain too.The edges of the netting are also slightly ragged in places. It’snot bad they just weren’t cut out as crisply as they could havebeen. There are more gathers in the front than in the back. The skirthas a nylon underskirt (for modesty). The nylon skirt doesn’t matchup on the back seat, but the netting overskirt does. The headband isnice. I would be careful in case the black elastic stains. There aresome excess threads at the flower, but nothing to major. The purse isnice. It is still sealed. This fabric does tend to degrade and crackover time. It also can go sticky. It is a bit overworked and has lotsof excess threads. It also has some green threads on the left side onthe front for some reason. Please examine all pictures to see theexact condition of the outfit.
