Item: 2 Vintage White Pina Linen Guest Towels
Details: Pina linen is made in the Philippines from fibers of pineapple leaves. A tremendous amount of work goes into creating the linen. The end result is a beautiful, light and sheer cloth with a smooth silky texture. These two fine white Pina linen towels feature a hand embroidered cross stitched pattern of colorful elegant florals. Hand appliqued edges at both ends with blue Pina linen. Hand stitched along remaining two sides. Each measures 19-1/2 x 13 inches. Soaked immaculate from moderate age discolorations. No holes or stains. Simply lovely !
All of my repeat customers are aware that I have had a passion for antique & vintage linen and laces for many years. I take particularly great care of them and have my own methods in eliminating or reducing discolorations as a result of age and/or usage. They have generally been used and/or handled by their previous owners over many years. Most are rarely perfect. None are in brand new condition. Most are purchased because of their beauty, intricate details and continued years of life left to them, in enjoyment. In the description and photos I try to be as accurate as humanly possible about any flaws or damage that I can visually see and feel. Sometimes tiny and/or barely noticeable imperfections may be missed and should be expected of old textiles. Please be mindful that color tones can also vary on different computers. Be sure to view and enlarge all photos before bidding and ask any questions if you are uncertain about the condition of any item. All sales are final and returns are not accepted unless there has been a careless and gross error in my item description.
