For your consideration is a sweet Vogue Ginny Doll wearing Outfit #55 from the Candy Dandy Series from 1954. This Ginny is strung doll and probably from 1953. She has thick, curly auburn hair in a side part. Her eyes are brown, lips are red and cheeks have a rosy blush. Her lashes and brows are a taupe color starting to have a greenish hue which is still subtle, but should be mentioned. Her outfit is quite nice. The velvet bodice and trim are soft and have no bare spots. Her rose colored dress and matching bloomers are free of stains, holes and fading.

Elastic at waist has been given a tighter elastic and elastic at legs are nice and snug. She is wearing a sweet vintage lace trimmed slip under her dress for extra pouff. This Ginny is wearing flat soles shoes marked “Ginny” which is correct and used only in 1954, for 1 year. Her white rayon socks are clean and free of runs and holes and still snug.

MHer horsehair bonnet is in excellent condition. There are no nips or stains and chin elastic is nice and tight. Color matches dress beautifully. The flowers on her hat and in her bouquet that she is holding are new, bright and beautiful. Ginny comes with her white stand.
