“Bear/Sheep Hunt” (1948) 16mm Film Home Movie, AK, Flight, Hike, Camp, Panos, VS

Film is well edited with title footage telling the story throughout the film. Great story of hunting buddies that hunt together every year, returning to their camp in the Alaska wilderness which needed to be repaired but the trio is undaunted and have it renovated in no time. In addition to posing with dead animals, the filmmaker captures a lot of the scenery and mountains of Alaska.

Filmmaker has inserted title frames describing the footage which is very helpful. He also included the kind of rifle and the range which the animals were shot.

VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED: some of the images of killing animals on the film may be disturbing to some viewers.
