Here for sale is a vintage set of 12 knife rests in 6 different dog designs.

Hard to date but possibly from the 1960's and maybe French? You do see silver, more intricate knife rests for sale often but this simple, bent metal rod design I've not really seen before.

Very simple and sculptural form, all of the dogs share the same body shape but have different ears to represent different breeds.

Condition is good, with a couple of the dogs having very small chips in the paint but really nothing unsightly. Look to have been used sparingly and come with the original box.
