Did you know that Toledo, Spain was famous for scissors? Toledo is also famous for knives and swords. One of my favorite vintage finds is a pair of brass engraved sewing scissors with "Toledo" imprinted on them. They are still sharp today!They are definately unique!

Toledo was once the capital of Spain until about 1560. It is rich in fine artisany, great cuisine and picturesque scenery.... and scissors. The manufacture of fine swords and knives in the city of Toledo goes back to Roman times.
