A nicely shaped jacket made from a heavyweight blue-grey worsted wool- the type of fabric usually used on field jackets and greatcoats- with a full viscose lining. It features chest and hip pockets plus an interior hip pocket and wallet pocket. The exterior pockets have no fastening only the flaps, the interior pockets are fastened by buttons. There are metal belt hooks at either side. The original plastic buttons have been replaced with real horn buttons. Overall quality is excellent.
The
fit will be something like a sports jacket, i.e. relatively close,
designed to go over a shirt and a thin sweater but not much else.
Condition
There's some slight wear/ discolouration on the inside of the neck at the fold, which is not visible when the jacket is worn. And a small mark on the lining beneath the neck. See the last four photos for these. Otherwise the jacket is in excellent condition.
