The exterior is fabric -- satin or silk just not sure. Although these are orange, they're not loud since the tan FF logo quiets the vibe.  The wedge heel design provides a comfortable fit, making them perfect for all-day wear.  The size stamp isn't visable anymore but based upon my purchase history, these fit like a EU 39.5 as I usually wear a size US9 or EU40.  These have been well loved (please review photos) but they are priced accordingly.
