About the Artist Harry Allen is an award-winning interior and industrial designer who achieved prominence in 1994 for his design of Moss, the design gallery in New York City. He has also designed a number of retail interiors including Supreme apparel stores, and Hushush in Japan. As a product designer, his clients include Magis, Aveda, Steuben, Johnson & Johnson, and La Mer. Mr. Allen has received numerous awards, and his work is in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and the Brooklyn Museum of Art.About the Studio AREAWARE is a New York City based manufacturer of everyday objects that are both functional and unusual. Its goals are to create thoughtful products that inspire an emotional response and to encourage a dialogue between people and their surroundings.
