Glass panel from a Vintage Retro Mazzega Petal light Italian 1970s.

An interesting piece of curved glass that started life as one of several petals on a !970s Mazzega ceiling light. In the typical Mazzega ripple glass finish with a grape colour glass infused into the clear glass it is very striking. It comes in the form of a gentle curve as shown with two holes at the pointed end of the petal. This was the original fixing onto the light fitment frame but could easily be used to suspend the panel as a wall decoration. Alternatively laid onto its back as shown in some of the photos it makes a unique fruit bowl or trinket tray. A very special item in lovely undamaged condition. Length is 335mm, width at the widest point 260mm and depth about 90mm.
