DESCRIPTION This is a used circa 16th century 1500 - 1600 Tudor silver gilt dress hook clothing fastener as shown. This item was found in a farmers field in 2003 in the village of Finchingfield near Saffron Walden / Thaxted / Braintree Essex UK.

CONDITION  I will leave you to decide; please look at the photos carefully. I think the general condition is good used collectable for the age. As you can see in the photos, there are general user, handling and storage marks etc. A very nice item with a quality feel that deserves better photos. This item was found in a farmers field in 2003 in the village of Finchingfield near Saffron Walden / Thaxted / Braintree Essex UK. It was carefully cleaned with a tooth brush and soapy water and no chemical etc.
