We were able to play multiple VHS tapes with this VCR. We connected the VCR to a TV using RCA cables, and there was both picture and sound from the VHS. We were able to rewind and fast-forward using both the buttons on the panel as well as the dial and jog/shuttle button(watch video.) This VCR belonged to a client of ours. We were unable to test every single function due to lack of technical expertise. This is why we're selling it in ebay's "For Parts or Not Working" Category,
