A one-off signed 20in x 16in presentation featuring the Brazilian F1 double world champion Emerson Fittipaldi during his time with Lotus.
Emerson made his race debut for Team Lotus as a third driver at the 1970 British Grand Prix. After Jochen Rindt was killed at the 1970 Italian Grand Prix, the Brazilian became Lotus's lead driver in only his fifth Grand Prix.
He enjoyed considerable success with Lotus, winning the world title in 1972 the age of 25 - at the time, he was the youngest-ever F1 world champion. He later moved to McLaren for 1974, winning the title once again.
Following his F1 career, Emerson moved to the American CART series, achieving successful results, including the 1989 CART title and two wins at the Indy 500 in 1989 and 1993, the final one at an unprecedented 46 years old.
The photographs in the presentation are from the wonderful F1 era of the black and gold JPS Lotus.
The presentation is in a black mount ready to frame and is completed by an etched plaque, a period JPS Lotus supporter's badge and a clear autograph that was personally signed for me by Emerson at the Goodwood Festival of Speed Drivers' Club. The whole item comes in a fitted cellophane bag for protection. Happy to provide a COA.
This is a one-off presentation put together by photographer and framing expert Paul Costen and would make a great addition to any F1 collection, but particularly those of Fittipaldi and Lotus fans.
This item will be securely and safely packed, sent in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard packaging.
