You are bidding on a postwar Lionel #2046 Steam Locomotive that was cataloged in 1950-51, and again in 1953. This one dates from 1953 with a heat-stamped cab number. This locomotive is in excellent+ condition and has no problems or damage. The die-cast boiler is flawless. The original paint still has a super nice appearance with very few noticeable contact marks. The cab numbers are clear and bold. The metal parts are rust-free and have excellent original finish. It runs forward and reverse with a 3-position e-unit. It features Magne-traction, and has an operating smoke unit and an operating headlight. This locomotive has been tested and was found to be in running condition.  Absolutely nothing is broken or missing and there are no reproduction parts. It includes a nice original box (w/original liner) that has no problems or damage. There is some overall light wear evident. A nice original instruction sheet is also included. Please email if you have any questions. Sells with no reserve!
