Vintage glazed ceramic replica of the Ohio State Capitol Building that is also a coin bank made and signed by Nelson and Billie McCoy of the McCoy Collection, successor to Ohio's legendary McCoy Pottery.
This large commemorative Ohio Statehouse bank is cast in glazed ceramic in white and dark green colors with very good detail, from the columns on all four sides to the flat domed top. The back reads "Ohio Statehouse" with a brief architectural description. The coin slot is on the roof and the round rubber trap is on the bottom. The bottom is inscribed "STATEHOUSE MUSEUM SHOP - The McCoy Collection - Made in Ohio". The corners have the ink signatures of Billie and Nelson McCoy.
It measures 5" tall by 9" wide by 5.5" deep, and weighs 2 lbs.
