Hueller Alto Saxophone Full Pearls / Rolled Tone Holes HISTORIC COLLECTION

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Here's a pretty cool piece!

This Hueller alto saxophone appears to have drawn inspiration from the 6M with the tunable neck and the rolled tone holes. Full pearls are on all the keys, and I see some similarities to the Rudy Wiedoft model as well. It's as though a bunch of vintage altos were thrown into a blender and this came out. This has the potential to be a really cool vintage player or just a fun conversation piece. Will need a repad.

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting, we have chosen to not initiate any restoration work, leaving that to the eventual owner. We expect that this instrument will need pad and keywork to be playable.
