Never used, never sold retail, this beautiful "art deco" styled wristwatch came from a jeweler/watchmaker's stock that ceased business some time ago. The stunning case, with desireable "hooded" lugs, is made of solid 14K rose gold. The case, including the crystal, weighs 12 grams on a scale. The Swiss-made movement is fully-jeweled with 17 ruby-jewelled bearings, and has beautifully brushed geartrain with a polished steel escape wheel. The band is leather, and is still flexible.I don't know what the relationship between "Thalson" and "Alton" is; the provenance suggests that the box is original - but I don't know for sure.

Important Note: This watch "ticks" and setting functions work, but it has never been serviced in 90 years!
NO guarantees on its function; it will need to be serviced before use. If you need help finding a watchmaker, please let me know; for an additional fee, I can have this watch guaranteed to run as-new for 1-year. If you don't plan on using it (winding, setting and running the movement), I recommend saving your money until you do. I also recommend removing the original band and saving it for historical reference; new old-style straight-cut bands are inexpensive and much more durable.

Returns: Since this watch is New Old Stock, a $
75. restocking fee applies for any return (shipping is additional).
