PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Here's an interesting double clarinet in Bb and A. It includes separate upper bodies for each key that share a bell, lower joint and mouthpiece. Instrument is unmarked as to maker but is estimated to be from 1850. Note repaired crack in body. Will need padwork to be playable.

Provenance: The Historic Collection. This is from the collection of a well-known researcher and historian of woodwinds who spent a lifetime collecting rare and unique instruments. We are privileged to offer items from this collection for sale.

As this instrument is historically interesting we have chosen to not do restoration work on it and leave that to the eventual owner.
