Ibanez Artist AR500 1980 Antique Violin [SN L805275] Japan Used

Description

We are pleased to announce the arrival of an AR500 made in 1980.
It was the top model of the Artist series at the time, and in addition to its high-end looks, it has a lot of functionality.
The mahogany back/flame maple top body, 3-piece rock maple neck/ebony fingerboard, and split block inlays in pearloid and Avalon enhance the high-end look.
The body, neck, and head are all multi-bound, and the head veneer and gold hardware add even more luxury and class.
All hardware is original Ibanez, with velvetune machine head, half bone/half brass nut, Gibraltar bridge with sustain block, tailpiece with cloud plate, and two SUPER58 pickups. The controls are 1 volume/1 tone.
Controls include 1 volume/1 tone, 3-way pickup selector, active 3-band EQ (treble/midrange/pass), gain boost, and tri-sound switch for each pickup (humbucker/single coil/parallel). This model allows you to enjoy a very wide range of sound creation.

One part of the head binding is missing and there is a ding on the head top.
There are minor scratches and dings on the body top, and some of the binding has discoloration and cracks.
The body back has numerous scratches, dings, and paint chips scattered throughout the body, with paint chips especially noticeable on the outer edge of the body.
The tri-sound switches for each pickup are slightly bent, but this does not affect their operation.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
