The realistic Opti-myst 3D fire effect
The Opti-myst Cassette 250 electric insert from Dimplex is equipped with the patented 3D flame effect Opti-myst. With the new generation of electric fireplaces, a very realistic three-dimensional flame image can be displayed through the combination of light and mist technology. An ultrasonic nebulizer atomizes the water in a container in the chimney. The water mist is guided by color-coordinated LED lamps. As warm air rises, the mist flickers upwards like a flame and is illuminated by the lamps. This makes the fog look like a real flame, which from a little distance can hardly be distinguished from a real fire.
