Quarter Leather Binding To Spine and with Marbled Covers
Beautiful antique book. Rebound by Bayntun with quarter leather and marbled covers; edges/corners rubbed/worn (light for age) with a few small marks to spine. Gilt page ends. Gilt lettering to spine with the date 1818 printed at the base. Measures approximately 7.3" x 4.5" x .8". Binding still nice and tight. Bayntun, Binder, Bath, England stamp on top left hand corner on the back of the front endpaper in each volume. The word 'Liverpool' is handwritten at the top of the title pages in volumes II, III, & IV and there is a previous owner's handwritten name at the top of the half title page in volume II.
