This laptop was brought to me for repair. It was determined to have a hardware issue of either a bad GPU or bad Display (I think it's a bad display but could be wrong). Aside from the built in display not showing an image, it appears to function as normal, please read below to learn more about this laptop:
- Built in display does not show image or backlight. Touch screen still responsive (But unsure how useful it would be)
- The laptop does work properly if used docked (Lid closed and HDMI plugged into external monitor)
- Built in keyboard/mouse work
- Battery does appear swollen but can hold a charge. You cannot notice swelling (Unless you're really looking for it) if bottom cover is on. Unsure of current life mAh capacity vs design capacity
- Wi-Fi confirmed working
- Light scuffing/scratches on outer frame
- Bottom rubber pad covering service screws will need to be glued down or have new adhesive applied, the ends do move and partially come up
- OEM Charger included
- Storage drive wiped and Windows 11 Home 22H2 re-installed
Side/External Ports:
- 2 Thunderbolt 4 with USB4 Type-C® 40Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
- 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 10Gbps signaling rate (HP Sleep and Charge)
- 1 HDMI 2.0b
- 1 AC smart pin
- 1 headphone/microphone combo
- 1 Micro
Specs:
512GB Intel SSD (M.2)
11th Gen Intel Core i7-1165G7 2.80GHz Base, 4.70GHz Turbo Boost
16GB DDR4-2600MHz (non-expandable)
-Would make a great PC for casual use if docked and attached to an external monitor/keyboard/mouse. (Perfect for young kids/elderly to "set it and forget it")
-Very fast and responsive for everyday tasks/general use.
-Not suitable for hardware intensive gaming (Will run some games, research specs for game to see how it will play)
-Ships out next business day
