ABOUT THE ITEM:

Big and heavy, this has been one of the most prized items in my private Star Wars collection for many years - an original (2004) full-size statue (1:5 scale - or about 17.5" tall) by Attaku. It is considered by many collectors to be a "grail" piece. There are many Vader statues out there, but the hand-sculpted nature of the Attakus statues give them an authentic feel.

This statue was taken out of its box for a photo shoot when I first purchased it (directly from Attakus where I was a retailer at the time) but it has spent the rest of the last twenty years stored in a smoke-free, temperature-controlled room in my home. There are no chips, scratches, or other structural defects. As is common with Attakus statues, there are a couple places where the packaging (running against the styrofoam shell) has caused subtle shine on the finish of the cape (something easily corrected with a touch of dulling spray - assuming it bothers you at all). It is otherwise in like-new condition.

The box has some superficial wear (like all Attakus boxes - even when fresh from the factory) but I'll box it up with plenty of cushion.

ABOUT SHIPPING:

I pack like a true collector, which is to say I pack the way I would want to receive the item if I were the buyer. PLEASE NOTE: I have a job and can usually only get to the post office once or twice per week (typically Thursdays and/or Saturdays) so if you win this item, be advised that it *may* be as long as one calendar week between the close of the auction and the shipping of the item.

ENDING AUCTION EARLY:

Once an item has at least one bid, I will not end it early for any reason (because that's not fair to other bidders). However, I reserve the right to end an auction early (or alter the starting bid, or make other revisions to the listing) at any time as long as it has no bids. So, if you want to be sure an auction runs its full course, at least one person needs to bid on it.

FEEDBACK POLICY:

I consider each transaction to be concluded when the buyer is satisfied which is indicated by positive feedback left for me. I leave feedback for all customers who leave feedback for me, but this happens at the end, not at the time of payment. So, if you want feedback from me, leave feedback for me. 

TERMS OF SALE:

I'm sure neither of us want to play games. My 100% feedback rating and 20 years on e-bay speaks for itself. Please only bid if you are serious. All items are represented as honestly and thoroughly as possible. If you have a specific concern about an item, look at photos, read the description, and ask questions before you bid. If your item arrives damaged or is lost in transit, you agree to file an insurance claim for your loss. You further agree not to come to me for a refund (total or partial) for loss/damage sustained in transit (that's what insurance is for). In 20 years and over 3,000 transactions, I have only had two problems that required insurance to get involved and both were international packages lost in transit.
