Used Martin D-35 made in 2008 with 175th anniversary engraving
Along with the D-28, the D-35 is one of Martin's most iconic models.
This model was introduced in the mid-1960s with an innovative three-piece back construction.
Not only was the back divided into three separate boards, but even the top bracing was designed specifically for the D-35, resulting in a new era of models with very flat output characteristics.
The D-35's unique sound balance makes it a high-performance model that can cover a wide range of musical genres with just one instrument. It is a truly standard model used by many artists.
This is a so-called old specification before the model change in 2018. It has a low profile neck shape with no peculiarities, standard taper, 42.9mm nut width, black pickguard, and clear finish. The simpler appearance is also attractive.
Condition.
There are a lot of minor play marks and dings from use, but no cracks or other major damage.
There are no problems in playing, including the neck condition. String height is about 2.6mm at 12F on the 6th string and about 1.6mm on the 1st string.
The fretboard has been adjusted and fretted.
Light 35 sound, different from the current model. Perfect for storytelling and singing.
