These are 2 antique jewelers' saws. The larger 19th century European saw has the usual German pattern saw frame with a hand carved handle with floral motives and cross hatching. 2 thumb screws secure the blade. Throat Depth is 2.5 inches.
The second tool is an interesting hand made saw. Throat depth is 1 inch, thus most appropriate for smaller sheet metal or woodwork. The blades are secured with rivets. The middle of the frame is adorned with attractive filings.The tang appears to have been inserted into a plastic handle of later date.
