The color on this UV-reactive, antique vintage, unmarked Northwood Good Luck carnival glass bowl in a super satiny pastel aqua opalescent butterscotch with opal tips is exceptional. And, it fluoresces green for uranium ware under blacklighted conditions. Unfortunately, there is a substantial 1"L x 1"W rim edge chip that took a scalloped point along with it in the 4 o'clock rim edge location of the 1st main photo. A close-up of the chip photographed from the reverse is also included for viewing. There is also a coarse section of glass on a rib section about a quarter of an inch away from the collar base, also shown, that indicates grinding or polishing down to smooth whatever was wrong with this area. There are also literally hundreds if not thousands of combined trapped seed bubbles and "floating" specks of dirt/dust/debris particles trapped in the glass chemistry, shown. What's special about this as-found bowl is the outstanding multi-spectrum butterscotch color, with much blue and magenta in the marigold overlay. What's unusual, too, is the wispy white swirled slag glass effects through at least one-half of the bowl's internal chemistry, and a large patch of opal slag to one side of the collar base marie. There are no cracks to travel to parts unknown. Where possible, I tried to photograph most of the swirled slag glass effects, and capture as many trapped seed bubbles and speck particulates as possible. As you can't fake outdoor photography, what you see for color on this bowl is what you'll be getting. Another plus factor is the overall lack of usage scratch wear front & back. If you need to see add'l photos, let me know. Buyer pays either USPS ground advantage or priority mail s/h/i, with free tracking, on this 3lb. pkg. Due to across the board increases, a $2. handling fee has been added to this purchase. Re: all regular 10 day auctions, although you may request a payment total through eBay channels, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU AN INVOICE STATING ALL CHARGES BEFORE PAYING. For Buy-It-Now auctions, please follow thru with immediate payment. Otherwise, with regular auctions, payment is expected within 3 days.
