This sale is for a vintage hardback FIRST EDITION entitled “British Maps and Map-Makers,” by Edward Lynam, illustrated with 8 plates in COLOUR and 22 illustrations in black & white.

 

It was published by Collins, of London, in MCMXXXXIV, and is the 1944 FIRST EDITION.

The book measures 9 inches x 6.5 inches and has 48 pages + colour plates. 

 

The book is in good, neat condition for its age, with minor wear and small tears/chips to the edge of the original dust-jacket. There are NO inscriptions/book-plates and NO other ink or pencil markings in the book.  The binding is good with no loose or missing pages.
