This Complete Straight Down Sniper bolt is a nice addition for your rifle. The shaft is Straight Down (10 degrees), and it comes with a Stainless Steel Ball (Pressed on 5/16" Stainless Steel  shaft). No stock modification are necessary. This bolt will fit ALL Mosin Nagant Original Wood Stocks and ATI & Archangel Stocks. It will NOT work well with some other after market poly stocks and because of your scope placement (SEE THIRD (3) PICTURE, this will work). Our Sniper Bolt is Tig Welded, Not Screwed and Pined. All our Sniper Bolts have the Serial Number Removed from the Top Side Tongue. This is helpful if you decide to transfer your Serial Number to this New Bolt Body (we do not do this). We do not modify customer owned bolts bodies. Rifle DOES NOT come with this item. Pictures shown are general in nature.

 Here's Something to think about....Our Steel Balls are pressed on the bent 5/16" stainless steel shaft. If you want to add your own special ball or knob, all you have to do is apply heat from a Butane Torch to just the ball top. Hold the ball in the downward position and the ball will fall off. You may have to use a little pressure with pliers to clear the ball from the shaft or cut the ball longways with a dremil tool or drill a hole in the top of the ball and punch the shaft off the ball. The shaft is 5/16" stainless steel and can be threaded for your ball or knob.
