BARCREST MPU4 MOD 2 FRUIT MACHINE MOTHERBOARD!

The owner of this item ran a successful business installing/repairing fruit/gaming machines in pubs/clubs/hotels & arcades for many years during the 1960's/70's/80's before retiring and this item dates from that period and would now be RARE to find!

This model has the SERIAL NUMBER: M146441 and is the MOD 2 VERSION of the

MPU4 and it has the YAMAHA SOUND CHIP on the board.

Listed as 'OPENED - NEVER USED' only because there was not a suitable category for it! It does NOT have a box - but is in shrink-wrap, which is sealed to one edge, but open at either end. It would not be possible to remove the item without breaking the seal - so it has definitely NOT been opened since this was put on.

IMPORTANT - BUYER MUST READ BEFORE PURCHASE!

In sealed shrink-wrap - therefore it is NOT POSSIBLE to test it - subsequently I cannot guarantee if it is working or not!

A small hole was made in the shrink wrap, to enable a tiny camera to be inserted, to establish the state of the battery. From what was visible on the camera, the battery has some corrosion on one side and some of this has 'flaked' - leaving loose particles on the board. However, the battery itself does not appear to have 'leaked'. There are also lots of dust particles inside.
