Description

This is a rather RARE book that is very well-worn. It is "Florida for Tourists, Invalids and Settlers" by George M. Barbour.  Published by D. Appleton & Co., New York, 1882. Copyrighted Sept., 1881. Hardcover in the original publisher's brown cloth binding, but the book is well-worn and nearly totally disbound--both covers are partially loose, there is mottling to covers. spine backstrip is completely torn away. The folding map of Florida is tattered and in pieces. There are many loose, but PRESENT pages. Complete. I will call the the book Poor to Fair, at best. Measures 5 1/4 X 7 3/4, 310 pages plus publisher advertising at the rear of the book. A SCARCE FEW copies of this book can be found on other internet booksites for upwards of $160!! I will offer this well-worn copy of this VERY SCARCE TITLE for only $22.50 plus $5.00 S&H in the US. (Rm 1, L, Case 3, Shelf 3)
