Her First Vanity Case! This beautiful vanity case comes from the Victorian era (1820-1914) and probably was given as a gift to a little girl to encourage good grooming & hygiene! Two doors, featuring pretty maidens, open to show mirrors, brush & nail buffer. The drawer contains a small jar & nail tool and the domed top opens to reveal three more small containers and a child-size toothbrush! The comb is missing & so are some nail tools. The dimensions are 14.5 in by 11 in and there is a bit of damage to the celluloid at the bottom edges (See Photos), but the lining on the insides is in very good condition for its age.
For collectors of Victoriana, this is a Rare Find. Feel free to contact me & thanks for visiting:)
