Here is something that I got in with a bunch of train track that I purchased. This is an electric motor with a gearbox attached, made by A.C. Gilbert for use in their Erector Set line of construction toys.  It is marked as A-47 Electric Engine.   It was stored in a hot attic for decades, and as you can see the insulation on the original cord is virtually gone.  THEREFORE I AM SELLING THIS ITEM AS NOT CURRENTLY WORKING AND UNTESTED.  I MAKE NO GUARANTEE THAT IT WILL WORK IF YOU REWIRE IT.  Still, I am sure it is of value to someone out there, perhaps an Erector Set collector who needs one to fill in a hole in a set.  Looks decent other than that cord.  Photos show the item from all 6 sides, with a yardstick in the shots for size reference, plus a closer shot of the gearing in the gearbox so that you can see they are not stripped.  Priced to sell, with only actual USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail shipping on the 2 1/2 pound package charged to the winner!
