ANTIQUE DRESS
e r a : 1920s (maybe late 20s due to the belt loops)
f a b r i c : two layers of silk
c o l o r : tangerine
f a s t e n e r s : none - does have belt loops
d e s i g n e r : unknown
d e t a i l s : Beautiful tangerine salmon orange 1920s silk drop waisted dress (but does have belt loops - no belt). This is sleeveless with a shift style fit and flares out to a fuller skirt. Darting deco details! (say that 3 times!)

c o n d i t i o n : Wearable and the silk is strong but it is 100 years old and a delicate tissue silk SO you would have to wear it with care. There is a subtle mottling/tie dye effect of the fabric, and honestly I love it. Some light damage to the silk under one arm one small hole at shoulder. Finally, there was another type of silk (chiffon) that was another layer between the sweetheart neckline silk layer and the outer crinkled silk that deteriorated. So, I think it would be more stable if you attached a silk strap from the one side to the other (if that makes sense). That said - I do think it's wearable as is.
