Awaiting your purchase is a magnificent 19th century sterling silver Fiddle pattern stuffing spoon made by the silversmith George W. Webb of Baltimore, Maryland, between 1865 and 1886. It is similar in style to English spoons of a similar period, and indeed Webb's father, also a silversmith, was born in London in 1788. This wonderful spoon remains in excellent antique condition and bears highly decorative script initials SEL to the handle. A beautiful spoon to collect or to use.
