This is a semi-professional SLR camera produced by Nikon from 1978 through 1983. It has some very useful features, such as a built-in analog light meter, positive and negative exposure compensation, an electronic shutter with a very wide range of speeds (8s to 1/1000s), a mechanical shutter speed (1/90s), a self-timer, a hot-shoe, an automatic exposure mode, and a battery level indicator. The camera is in great condition, with only some very minor wear to the bottom plate. It was tested, and functions as intended.

This camera comes with a standard Nikon 50mm f/2 lens (in good condition, with lens cap), as well as an MD-11 motor drive. The motor drive takes standard alkaline batteries, and can be used to power the camera, as well as for continuous shooting of 3.5 frames per second. The battery compartment of the motor drive looks clean, although I have not tested its functionality as I have only used it as a grip, and had no need for a continuous shooting mode. With this motor drive, the camera becomes much more comfortable to hold than a regular 35mm film camera, and feels more like a modern DSLR. Also included is a UV filter (to protect the lens), and a strap.

This camera is a great kit for anyone looking to get into film photography, or for an upgrade. I have used many Nikon film and digital cameras, and this one is one of my favourites due to its ergonomics and ease of use. The analog light meter makes it easy to take readings between stops, and the camera is built to a high standard. A wide range of lenses can be used with this camera, including Nikon Pre-Ai, Ai, Ai-S, AF, and AF-D lenses, as wells as other various lenses from other brands, such as Sigma (any F-mount lens that has a physical aperture ring can be used). This camera uses common LR44 button cell batteries.
