Features:
1. AD8495 Type K Thermocouple Amplifiers. These amplifiers convert the small voltage generated by a thermocouple junction into a signal that can be easily read by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) or microcontroller. The gain from the thermocouple to the amplifier output is approximately 5 mV /°C.
2. The AD8495 performs cold-end compensation using an on-chip temperature sensor. The thermocouple provides accurate measurements over a wide range of ambient temperatures.
3. The AD8495 has a built-in high-precision instrumentation amplifier. The amplifier has high common-mode rejection to suppress common-mode noise that may be picked up by long-wire thermocouples. For additional protection, the amplifier's high impedance input allows for easy additional filtering.
4. The AD8495 supports a wide range of supply voltages. the AD849x is powered by a single 5V supply that covers a thermocouple temperature range of nearly 1000 degrees. It can be connected directly to low supply voltage ADCs via a 3V supply. it can also be powered by supplies up to ±18V to support industrial systems requiring a wide common-mode input range.
5. The AD8495 can easily measure negative temperatures regardless of which supply rail is used. The 0°C output can be adjusted by the voltage on the reference pin, allowing the output range of the AD849x to be flexibly adjusted to suit the ADC.
6. The stable input design can handle a wide range of practical connection conditions. the CJMCU-8495 can withstand input voltages much higher than the power supply rails. For example, when using a ±5 V power supply, the voltage at the input is guaranteed not to damage the device even if it reaches ±35 V. The CJMCU-8495 is designed to handle a wide range of practical connection conditions. Minimum and maximum input bias current characteristics aid in thermocouple open-circuit fault detection.
