Welcome to the sale of this amazing fully analog Roland SH101 inspired fully analog module by Malekko Heavy Industry.

It’s got a couple of interesting features that elevate it from the level of a 101 clone. Firstly the sequencer does lots of whizzy stuff like probability. Secondly there’s an incredible morph knob that slows down your knob movements for fantastic evolving tweaks- why mess around with lfos when you twist morph to its slowest level, move a few buttons and move onto play something else as the synth automatically makes your knob movements in slo motion!

As a former owner of an SH101 and MC 202 - and the Behringer and a Roland Boutique

SH01 - I can confidently say that this thing sounds like the original. It’s built like a tank too!

A couple of things to note- it’s a used synth in great condition - but as can be expected, there are a few marks and imperfections. Nothing too serious- but look at the pics carefully. There are no dings or bent knobs or anything like that but it is in excellent used condition.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ- MIDI

I’ve failed to get this working using MIDI so I must assume.

been using the c trigger and cv gate. I can confirm that the sequencer starts and stops fine using clock sync and the
the cv and gate functions work well with my Future Retro Orb sequence.

Apparently updated midi firmware is available from Malekko but I never looked into that, preferring to sync it up and tweak manually or play lines in on the mini keyboard.

If lack of midi this is likely to be an issue for you - ie you want to control it from your DAW etc - then maybe you would be better off with a Roland Boutique.

If you are more of a DAWLESS hardware person- or modular user - CV gate trigger person ETC - then this will be right up your street! It sounds incredible and syncs up with Volcas, Sonicware Liven etc perfectly.

Note that mine is the desktop version (not the Eurorack) and it comes with the orig nal box and PSU.  I will upload some more pictures this weekend.

I have reflected the lack of midi in the price. These usually go for over £700 so grab yourself a real SH101 or Boutique money.
