I will consider fair offers for THESE TWO RARE PIECES OF MEDICAL HISTORY CAME FROM THE ESTATE OF A SUCCESSFUL SURGEON.  The Singer Surgical Stitcher dates to 1942.  It is missing two spools of sutures and the needles that tuck into the top.  The case is worn, faded, and has some separation.  I know a bit less about the folding display (? samples? -- or for use in the field) except that it, too, is quite rare.  Several sample needles are missing (used by a military surgeon) -- and I do not know whether the needles date back to World War II or are later, perhaps from the 1950s or 1960s.  These won't last long!
