На профессиональных и любительских снимках — размеренное течение провинциальной жизни Рязани конца XIX столетия и надлом первых десятилетий бурного XX в. Кроме фотодокументов, многие из которых были экспонированы впервые, архив предоставил для выставки родословные книги рязанского дворянства, дополнившие виды здания и интерьеров Рязанского дворянского собрания, афиши рязанского театра середины XIX в. и киноафиши начала XX в., образцы архитектурной графики. Выставка предваряет выход каталога фотодокументов из собраний ГАРО и РИАМЗ, представляющих исторических облик Рязани середины XIX — первой трети XX столетия. Работа над каталогом (авторы-составители заместитель директора по научно-методической работе ГАРО, к. и. н. Д. Ю. Филиппов и заведующая отделом фондов музея-заповедника Е. В. Чумичёва) велась в течение нескольких лет.

Professional and amateur photographs show the measured flow of provincial life in Ryazan at the end of the 19th century and the breakdown of the first decades of the turbulent 20th century. In addition to photographic documents, many of which were exhibited for the first time, the archive provided for the exhibition genealogical books of the Ryazan nobility, which complemented the views of the building and interiors of the Ryazan Noble Assembly, and posters of the Ryazan theater of the mid-19th century. and movie posters of the early 20th century, examples of architectural graphics. The exhibition precedes the release of a catalog of photographic documents from the collections of GARO and RIAMZ, representing the historical appearance of Ryazan from the mid-19th to the first third of the 20th century. Work on the catalog (authors-compilers: Deputy Director for Scientific and Methodological Work of GARO, Candidate of Historical Sciences D. Yu. Filippov and Head of the Museum-Reserve Collections Department E. V. Chumicheva) was carried out for several years.
