I am the original owner of this KenwoodSP-430 External Speaker of which I have two that I will be selling. It doeshave a few scratches here and there, but it works flawlessly for such a smallspeaker and a GREAT SPACE SAVER. I will be downsizing both my “travel shack”and other equipment as my travel days are over and retirement is just aroundthe corner. I used this speaker in my travels in listening to SW ONLY. I would not use this speaker for CW/SSB as itwill have too much base.
The Kenwood SP-430 external speaker provides low-distortion, clearsound and high intelligibility in any mode. It is made in an all metal cabinet.The rear panel has two screw terminal for 8 ohms input. There is a snap-outriser bar that will slightly slant the speaker upwards. The SP-430 matches the TS-711A Physical: 5 x 4 x 9.5 inches
