Postage and Packing cost cover not only Carrier costs but packing materials, boxes, bags, packing tape, cellotape, paper & ink costs. In addition eBay have been charging 10% of the postage costs in addition to Pay pal charging 10% to accept payment, which means I am loosing money.
I am a private seller and need to cover all of these costs, so my postage and packaging can on occasion seem high but its not its covering all my costs so I dont loose money. My items are sold with low starting prices and you are guaranteed a bargain, I dont want to loose money on postage & packing costs. I have also been caught out previously with additional postage costs to the Highlands of Scotland, Guernsey, Jersey, The Isle of White, The Channel Islands and Southern Ireland.
