On offer here is a pre-owned & used Graupner Speed 600 BB SP - 8.4v (Nominal) - Retro standard can brushed motor.

Retro can type brushed motor that is 'Speed 600' size in diameter, but slightly higher Kv than the more common Speed 600 8.4v version.

Standard 500/600 type mountings on front of motor (Two M3 tapped holes at 25mm centres)

Standard 3.2 mm output shaft.

The motor has external suppressors fitted.

There is some surface rust to the exterior of the flux ring that is fitted over the plated motor can and the product label is worn from a previous installation.

The motor has been bench tested & runs smoothly & appears to be within the manufacturer's specification.

Popular budget motor in the mid-90's for electric flight. Also useful in model boats & cars

Recommended operating voltage is 6.0 - 9.6 volts (5 to 8 cell NiCad/Ni-Mh).
This would equate to 2S or 3S Li-Po with careful propeller selection to keep static current  draw below 20 - 25 amps - depending on application.

Still a viable power unit for sport/club flying, despite being discontinued by Graupner since the availability of their cheaper brushless motors (Though the cheap brushless motors do cost more than the pioneering brushed 'can' motors).

Could be of interest to the collector or retro electric enthusiast.

Start price of this used Graupner brushed motor is £5.95

Postage within UK, or to GSP-UK depot, via 2nd Class Royal Mail Small Packet will be £3.69
