Two Murano clear glass flower chandelier shades 1960s/1970s.
An interesting couple of glass flower shades from an Italian chandelier. They are not a pair as can be seen from the photos as one has a larger middle stem than the other. But both have the same size bulbholder hole which is approx. 27mm and will fit either SES or BC bayonet fittings if used as shades. Both are 190mm across at the widest point and 60mm deep.
However these shades could be repurposed as decorative ornaments or even adapted as candle or tealight holders.
Both are in excellent vintage condition with no chips but the larger stemmed one does have a crack, possibly dating from the firing, to the glass stem. I have tried to show this in the photos. It is quite stable and not really visible so does not distract from the look of the flower.
Truly a great interior designer, restorer or collector lot. Price is for both flowers.
