Here is a Nickel Plate Products HO BRASS NYO&W Class U-1 4-6-0 Steam Loco/Tender. This features brass construction, metal wheels, realistic detailing, and a motor. Please see my pictures for additional features.
Introduced in the 19th century and further used during the 20th century, the 4-6-0 was a popular model thanks to its reliability and impressive stability when hitting speeds near 100mph. The 4-6-4 also referred to as a "10-wheeler" would eventually find its way in rail-yards around the world from the US to Finland, and even running the Cape Gauge in South Africa!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. Don’t miss out on the chance to add this masterfully crafted brass Steam Loco/Tender to your collection! This brass model from Nickel Plates Products is the perfect piece for anybody looking to add some great life-like aesthetics to their current collection! There is a bit of solder in some of the joints. There are spots of discoloration and light tarnish on the unpainted brass body. The wheels show light wear from minimal previous use. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included along with the foam liner. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item. Overall condition is Excellent.
