The buyer backed out saying the account was hacked. So, I am re-listing this item. Here is a chance for you to bid on one of the most sought-after phones. This is the original Gen 1 iPhone that is brand new, other than the outer wrap has been opened. You can see in the photo that even the original screen protector is still on the screen.
The story behind this: My friend, who passed away a few years ago, was an avid collector of Apple products. He had a large collection of Apple items, starting with several Newtons, the 20th Anniversary Mac, the first-generation iPod, and this first-generation iPhone. He never used many of the items, including this iPhone. His wife asked me to sell the collection so I am putting this on eBay.
I have not even plugged it in to see if it still works. Knowing how he took care of his collection, I have no doubt it still works. Everything has been left to the original packaging, and as I said, if it still had the outer wrap, it would be worth a lot more.
